I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Deftones headliner so this will be cool. Every time I have seen them they have been the direct opener.

Oh shit the Summer Stage at Asbury Park, I might go literally because of that. I absolutley loved seeing Coheed/Mastodon/ETID there.

Never seen Deftones live, kinda barely into Poppy and never listened to Gojira so if i go to this, it's really just for Deftones... should i wait for an album announcement and subsequent tour, idk...

 

gojira are so incredible live that imo it does not matter that you've never heard them

Album should be out by then. And Gojira have a real shout for best heavy live band on the planet and to be honest, maybe best heavy band in general right now.

Gojira? They've got a dvd from their early days, and one of their Hellfest sets must be available on Youtube no?

 

That said, what a line up. I wish they'd do an European tour with it too.

 

I think you've just about summed it up perfectly - Those three songs are greats and should be considered so.

I'm probably massively in the minority here but I feel indifferent to both SNW and Gore - Neither do anything for me outside of a few songs (Doomed User, Phantom Bride and the title track)

 

Seen them 7 times over the years (first time in 1997) - Hoping they come back to the UK as i missed then on the 'Gore' cycle
