There is not. Chino released a rough demo of it back in 2014, I think, but that got taken down pretty quickly. It's up on Youtube though.
I need to see them next year (assuming they're touring next year) After seeing Radiohead, they are one of the only bands left on my bucket list.
I doubt it at this point. We may hear another track or two, but the album as a whole is missing a lot of vocals and maybe more.
Really? I always assumed it was 85/90% done. They were just waiting til possibly when they eventually disband(hopefully 2040).
This is from the wiki: In July 2009, Deftones announced they had indefinitely shelved Eros in favor of work on a new album written with Vega.[21] At the time, only about six songs were completed for Eros.[22] Moreno estimated that Eros'instrumental portions were "probably 75-80% done" while the lyrics were about halfway completed, requiring about six more months of work to finish.[23][24]
So they've just been announced for a festival here in Ireland next June... maybe the new album's out by then?
Yeah they've announced a bunch of European festivals for next summer. Album must be out by then. Hopefully they do some headline shows while they're over here, haven't seen them since 2013 and it's been too long.
Not to bump this thread without news, but... I really think Deftones fans would love the band Sleep Token. Imo they share a similar boundary-pushing mentality, and their debut album "Sundowning" is one of my favorites of the year. Just made a thread if anyone wants to check it out: Sleep Token - Sundowning (November 21, 2019) • forum.chorus.fm
