That's a great question. I might drop Lucky You for it. I really love that song, but stylistically it's such a contrast to the rest of the album.

Funny enough that's where his name came from. He has Chinese ancestry and picked up that name when he was young because of it.

Diamond Eyes and Hexagram are pretty much perfect openers.

My hot take for favorite song is Entombed

Also shoutout the outro of Phantom Bride for possibly being the most bone-crushingly beautiful heavy moment in music ever.

How’s this for a hot take: Royal is the best track constantly slept on.

Another super underrated track that was a harbinger of things to come. I listened to this one twice as much as any other song on Adrenaline.

Okay I probably listened to Birthmark just as much but still.

    One of my favourites too.

I love this live video of them doing part of it, with Chino singing Fatman Scoop just before they kick into Engine No.9. Sounds like it shouldn't work but totally does.

@Drew Beringer did you review DE? Cuz if so I really liked your part about Chino’s scream at the end of Royal. It encapsulates it perfectly.

Deftones fans I think will enjoy The Contortionist's new single “Early Grave” dropping officially tomorrow. I definitely get some Deftones vibes from the vocals, and a bit of Tool from the instrumentation. I really think The Contortionist is a newer band that has the potential to be iconic for the modern progressive rock/metal scene.

Glad y'all hyped up Self Titled last week, hadn't listened in a while and this still rules. I am probably the most nostalgic for this one.

I would as well. I think I need to summon Shenron and ask him what is going on

Ezrin demos are awesome. Interesting to think how different the album could have been.

This is my favorite song from that era:

There's a version of it in the Ezrin demos, but you gotta have Chino's vocals.
