Looks like the two bands are about to announce a co-headline Summer tour any moment now, based on each bands' FB post today https://www.facebook.com/riseagainst/posts/10158095583865705:0
Weird pairing. Would prefer to see the Deftones with someone else, but I'll probably still go depending on the venue/ticket prices.
I'll go if it's cheap enough for nostalgia's sake. I didn't care that much for Deftones latest, but their last few releases were solid especially Diamond Eyes. I also have not enjoyed a full album from Rise Against since Sufferer and the Witness.
Probably wouldn't go to either of these bands alone, but together it might be worth checking out depending on price/location. I wonder what venue sizes will be like for this. Somewhere in the 5-10k range I'd guess?
Yep, basically what I was thinking. I think Rise Against has played there before. Although part of me wonders if it could get the bump up to UIC Pavilion, but if it's a summer tour it would make sense for it to be outside.
I'd be in for this if it came to Cleveland. I'd assume it'd be at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica. Announcement coming Monday?
Kinda betting on amphitheaters since it's a summer co-headliner. Hoping for something smaller though.
