honestly, most of their records would benefit from it. KNY is as long as SNW and has only ever had a single LP pressing. and Gore is shorter than both and got a 2 LP pressing, so I’m really not sure how they went about deciding this stuff lol.

Just incredible.

 

Took a few days break from listening to this to get caught up on a few other albums and MAN this record slams. Needed to know it wasn’t just a fluke feeling of having new music from them. I almost feel like PM is beginning-to-end what the band does best.

 

They're all bangers, for sure.

Seriously considering driving 2.5+ hours to see them for the first time in Maryland on Thursday.

Gave this a couple runs on my flight to Faro and infinite source FUCKING WHIPS. Need a closer listen but they've done it again.

 

I really like the little picked three-note guitar line submerged in the chorus of infinite source.

 

Every so often it pokes out extra clearly and sounds so nice.

 

yeah this is a strong contender for my AOTY

i really wish theyd put locked club, ecdysis, and dtb out as singles too.

 

crazy. in the last couple weeks theyve gone from 14mil to ~18mil monthly listeners on spotify. fucking crazy numbers all around.

They had so many candidates but with a six-week rollout it only made sense for two, I get what you mean though!

 

I legit cannot stop listening to that song. I seriously had it on repeat for an hour straight at one point I am so obsessed

 

mmiam is great obviously but i wouldnt have picked that one. motm was a great pick. people seem to buzz on infinite source a ton, im a little surprised by that, its a great song too but i get more from most the rest of the album. the only song i dont love atm is itayatt.

 

cxz recently clicked for me. tremendous song. love the last chorus switchup.

 

I think the hype about ITAYATT raised my expectations too high for that song.

 

its obviously a perfectly good song, i just like the rest of the album alot more. ive started skipping it some because maybe its a bit of commitment for me with its pacing.

Man the switchup to the swing in the second half of itayatt makes me ascend

 

ITAYATT is a major highlight imo. This album's "Sextape" or "Entombed"

 

I wish I loved that song as much as sextape or entombed, for me the clean guitar during the verses doesn't help push it to that otger level those songs are

 

Good song but unfortunately people saying exactly that before I heard it made it less impactful for me after I listened to it. Again good song and no shade but it’s not as interesting as Sextape and Entombed.

 

Not quite the same thing but I feel like that’s one of those situations where someone tells you “not a spoiler, but man that movie has such a crazy ending!” which I kind of consider a spoiler because now I’m gonna be paying closer attention knowing that something is up with the ending that I’m not expecting and can’t forget I read that so my brain is trying to solve it ahead of time vs being totally surprised because I didn’t know the ending would be crazy
