I think he was high for most of his life and that had something to do with his eventual mental crash. I was happy to hear he's taking care of himself now though. Curious to see how that plays out for the next album.

posted this in the vinyl thread but gonna cross post it here too. acquired a still sealed original 2006 pressing of Saturday Night Wrist yesterday. almost scared to open lol. but I have been wanting this for a long time, specifically this pressing bc it’s the only one on 2 LPs.

 

I remember back when even the single LP version of that was impossible to find, wild how times have changed.

 

this pressing is certainly getting harder to find (which makes sense of course lol). over the last 2 years I have passed up many (some much cheaper) copies, but it has become much scarcer to find this pressing in the last couple of months so I finally just gave in.

 

Get it back out on 2LP for 20 years next year. I tracked the single LP down for a three-figure sum and had to sell it, they should do it right.
