Very curious what their next US tour will look like re: openers and venue size. This was obviously the most recent run was biggest thing they’ve done so far so curious if they stay in arenas
I go through this every few years where I listen through the albums I don’t listen to as much. I never realized how different the guitars are from SNW to DE. Stef really committed to the downtuned and 7/8 string guitars, and it’s kind of jarring when listening to the albums back to back.

Is Belching Beaver still making their Deftones beers? Was in San Diego in 2019 and feasted on Phantom Bride and Digital Bath a lot. Wish I could try Swerve City since it’s my favorite Deftones track.
Yeah. They are. I don’t think they are doing the mixed pack of 4 anymore. But they have the phantom bride still.
That’s basically the set I would want at a Deftones show. I was just thinking today that they maybe have a small handful of singles or songs they “have” to play. Lots of opportunity to bust out cool deep cuts.
That livestream was great, didn't realize they played "infinite source" as well. My six-month-old was super enamored with "Entombed" lol
That album is an immediate album of the year. I cannot stop listening to it. I listened to it on my morning sunrise run and holy fucking vibes ...the sun burning through the fog was something else.
I don’t know much beyond deafheaven at 1, but it’s going to be the most contentious top 10 I’ve had to make in many, many, many years. and there’s still some extremely heavy hitters still coming (Greyhaven and the acacia strain with extremely high chances of topping my list). We are blessed in 2025 with great heavy music
