definitely self-titled vibes from that one. can't really explain it, but it gives me the warmth of "minerva" They are all good and going backwards (or forwards) through the discography would be a rewarding experience, but if you're specifically digging this, I would check out Ohms, Koi No Yokan, Diamond Eyes, and Self-Titled. You should absolutely check out the others, but those are the ones that sound most similar to this imo.
I have listened to this a handful of times now and am pretty sure it is my second favorite of the year so far. just stellar
my mind is a mountain is the only song im not obsessed with but even it is still a good tune. this is such a damn monster of an album
I need to try re-evaluating these one of these days honestly! Like they've always been the albums I'd say are 'least good' but they've got some slammers on them.
finishing my third listen now. just stunning all around. my best friend, whose favorite band is Deftones, says he should've taken the day off today to digest how great the album is
For some reason I want to try listening to this and Hum's Inlet alternatively. Feel like they'd flow so well one into another
I caught like 30 seconds of the livestream last night because i was grocery shopping. Serious FOMO. Hope to catch a rip of it sometime soon. Looked pretty neat from what I saw and read up on over on their reddit. Side note, listened to the first half on my drive to work and this thing rips. Songs are very solid and in the groove. Record should be getting in tomorrow. Excited to hear this one through the hifi.
Very, very pleased. Upon second listen some of my favorites are locked club, cXz, cut hands and metal dream. There's something about infinite source that isn't clicking with me like it is with everyone else, but it's still very well executed atmospherically.
I was able to squeeze in a listen before work today and GOD DAMN. Absolutely fantastic album Once again further proves why I love this band so much. They’ve honed in their signature sound, but no two albums sound alike I’ll need to give it a few more spins so I can let it sink in some more, but infinite source so far is my favorite track. Love me a good heavy, crunchy, major-key song
Yeah right now, this and the latest Bon Iver album are tied for AOTY for me. We’re eating good this year
ecdysis and milk of the madonna stood out the most to me on first listen, can’t wait to listen more. super strong album that had me headbanging at work today lol
Enjoyed my first listen. Can’t wait to spend more time with it tonight. Whatever Frank is doing at the end of cut hands is so sick. metal dream is great. Honestly that last three song set is solid.
