I’m so curious about this album: 1. How hard are they gonna BRING IT? 2. Will Chino scream? Rarely? At all? 3. How experimental/progressive will they get? 4. How will Fred (new bassist) fit in? 5. What role will Lance Jackman (Stef replacement overseas) serve on the album? Guitar parts? Background screams? It’s been said he’d be on it. 6. Does their career resurgence due to the Tik-Tok generation influence anything? Alright, I’m done geeking out for the day.
The last album still has yet to fully grow on me, hoping I'll take to the new one more. Would really love to hear a more experimental approach but not really expecting it, tbh.
Wait they have an official new bassist? And they said their touring guitarist has a role on the new album?! Color me more intrigued

Took me a moment but I like how stark and bare and overlit that cover is. No artificial beauty. It's like an offcut from what was meant to be a green screen background.
Although I'm still not convinced that that is definitely the album cover rather than the single. Stef said a few weeks ago that their new album cover was going to be good for tattoos, and that is not the case.
Interesting to me how many obviously biblical references Chino's been making in the last five years. Grace on the last Crosses album he admitted was straight-up about Jesus. Milk of the Madonna is an interesting title.
Love the album title and song titles. Wouldn't be mad at all if that was the official artwork too, although I think I prefer the look of the tour poster.
