yeah I watched an episode last night of this podcast he did and he showed his whole ass talking about Covid shit and I figured it would just go under the radar and be kinda whatever, and funny enough today I see this. sucked cause otherwise the podcast was an enjoyable listen and he seems like a funny dude who on the surface level is fun to talk shit with but I def got a bad taste in my mouth.

I also remember this being discussed a few years ago but it was kinda brushed off and since then I have always been a lil about him.

tbh I imagine they see it as kinda like many ppl see their idiot family members, hard to let go of that bond and they probably just work past those differences. I would like to think the rest of the band aren’t a bunch of total dipshits at least. Stephen is one of my favorite guitarists of all-time and an integral member of this band and I don’t think if he left that the band would/could/should go on, but I view him no differently than any other anti-vaxx, covid-denialist, flat-earther, and general conspiracy nut— with very little respect. hope he gets his head out of his ass, hope the rest of the band says something or even just one other member, but not expecting any of the above and I have p much already made peace with that inevitability. another great band with a member who is fucked up to some degree. so it goes.

tl;dr: sad, but not shocked, that Stef’s views are even more ignorant than his riffs.

Not a huge fan of the chorus part on this one, but still very cool

Yeah to clarify 'that dude' is MJK. Loved Linkin Park and I have so much respect for Mike Shinoda. Lowkey was hoping MJK wouldn't still be on this somehow.

 

Part of me thinks it'd have been funny if Shinoda had shat all over the song by throwing in a rapped verse.
