When that “I’m leaving you tonight” kicks back in at 2:39 of “Ceremony”

 

Loving it at first listen. Looking forward to listening with a good set of headphones.

 

Chorus of Pompeji is clicking for me more than my previous listens. I think the transition is so unexpected it caught me off guard for a while.

 

it really shines in this context imo

 

Took OHMS on a run. “Headless” really clicked for me and I love it now.

 

This album has been growing on me with each listen. I find something new and different to like about every track.

 

As a random update, I think I’ve spent enough time with ‘Around the Fur’ and ‘White Pony’ to say those are very good and I’m very sorry I haven’t had them in my life the last 20 years.

 

This is a neat listen. Starts with a retrospective of the band with a song from each album and interview snippets. OHMS part starts about an hour in with interviews interspersed.

 

The way the guitars hit on ceremony when chino sings “so I’m leaving you tonight”

7.6. I agree with the review mostly.

 

yeah, good one

 

Leans too much into the now cliché Chino/Stef tension but pretty decent otherwise.

 

People act like they're at loggerheads constantly but that's just... not the case, like at all.

 

Definitely a tired reoccurring storyline.

 

Had to look that up and, damn, what a cool word.
