I could actually see something along these lines as the subheadline on someone's review: "The link may be dead, but these songs sure as hell aren't."
Second listen and holy hell, I'm discovering a discography highlight of a part on every song. Ceremony's bridge is stunning. No idea if that's all electronics or some guitar effects, but I'm already obsessed with it. The tonal change midway through Error is incredibly well done as well. I lose it when Chino starts belting. And now I'm being crushed by Stef's low C# on The Spell Of Mathematics. About time he got some use out of that 9th string lol
I registered just to say that Pompeji might be one of my favourite Deftones tunes of all time. What a fucking song.
not gonna listen quite yet. waiting for better quality. but i'm curious... how often does that 9th string get used?
you and me both brother haha i think i'm too old for leaks these reactions though!! i don't think i've been more excited to hear an album this year
Is there any band better at giving you a piece of the chorus the first time around in a song and then building on it each time after? No.
I like Gore. From the first listen I liked it. I still listen to it now. This is way better. Could go through every song really. Genesis is really good and I think it's the worst track here. The chorus on Error is absolutely stunning.
