Deftones are celebrating White Pony's 20th anniversary with a brand new beer | Louder

 

Favorite song is probably a tie between Digital Bath and Butcher.

 

I was late to the Deftones train and Leathers was the song that made me a fan for life. Also why i rank KNY higher than most on here (i think)

 

KNY became one of my favorites over the years, topping Diamond Eyes. It's up there with S/T and White Pony in my personal top 3.

 

I’ve been a casual fan since my friend played Leathers on our college radio show but I’m finally getting really into these guys. They were always a band that I enjoyed but they never fully clicked until now.

 

KNY was my #2 for a while but that kinda has shifted the last couple years

 

White Pony, SNW, and KNY were always the three I felt most tuned into the atmospheric, moody parts of their sound, so those have always been my favorite

 

My three favorites are Koi No Yokan, Diamond Eyes, and White Pony but I still need to give Self-Titled, Saturday Night Wrist, and Adrenaline full listens.

 

KNY got me into them, so I have that as my #1

 

the production on KNY holds it back for me. nick whatever his last name is’ sound doesn’t do it for me.

 

I think the production is why I love KNY. Sounds huge.

anyway youve seen the butcher is probably my favorite deftones song. i got into them with diamond eyes so most of that contains my favorite deftones songs

 

KNY for me...Gauze takes me to another planet.

 

That song is top tier. Honestly, that album houses some of Stef's best riffs ever.

 

Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan make me want an 8 string

 

I want a 7 string but I don’t think I could ever fuck with an 8, too much neck for me my guy

 

I believe Carp has been using, at the very least, a 7-string guitar since the self-titled.

Saturday Night Wrist remains my favorite album. KNY and Diamond Eyes are 2nd 3rd. White Pony sits at 4th, but I love every single one of these albums.
