A well-to-do husband who allows his wife to have affairs in order to avoid a divorce becomes a prime suspect in the disappearance of her lovers.

    Okay. Done.

well, it wasn’t awful. Some decent tension at times, but I think they revealed what’s going down too early. I think they could have cut the 30 seconds of that reveal and keep everything else the same and allow a scene that happens 30 minutes later be the reveal and it would land harder as everything clicks into place.

but with that said, the last like 10 minutes were unintentionally hilarious to me. Let’s just say that things took a sudden turn tonally for me. but honestly, I think this is worth watching to see the build up to that scene and watch as things just go nutty.

Tracy Letts yelling about Siri or autocorrect while driving might be the best thing about the movie.

This does occur in the 10 minutes that I think make this worth a watch.

This is true. I also loved the old McDonald playing at the very end.

What a weird film. Was it supposed to be funny?

Of course he was. After interacting with all the hardcore Snyder bros who are OBSESSED with him as Batman, he must be used to slow lowly creatures.

sorry, for some reason the Batflecks dorks constantly pop up in my twitter feed as of late no matter how many of their hashtags I mute.

I like the actual ENDING, but they sure rushed the 10-or-so minutes getting there. You can tell they were made to cut the length way down.

Still a lot of good things going on in Lyne's usual way.

I also remain convinced that He didn't actually drown the guy. Those flashbacks were fantasy, just like the scenes of them having sex. He was just all hopped up on his imagination and threats and finally followed through on the last guy. Hence being so sloppy and rattled. Nobody else seems to agree.

Huh, I kind of like that theory.

Really the only enjoyable thing for me in the movie besides De Armas.

I feel like while De Armas did fine what she was give … all she really does is act bitchy to her child and Affleck and be flirty with dudes from a distance while Ben stares at her. She just isn’t given much to work with.
