Thought this album was fantastic. My standouts are probably Rapture and The Key To Life On Earth, but it’s one of those albums that really works as a whole for me. Absolutely loved it.
You Better Believe is a perfect opener for this album. The way it builds at the beginning is awesome. I also always like albums where the songs transition by morphing into one another the way that one does into Be An Astronaut.
This is a cool album. I feel like the theatricality might start to grate on me at some point but pretty into it right now. It keeps making me think of some stuff I was listening to a few years ago but haven't been able to figure it yet.
I’ve had “there’s unrest in the House of Lords” stuck in my head all day. Listened for the first time yesterday day on the recommendation of a friend and I’m loving this. The only song I’m not huge on is Emily. Parts of this album remind me of so many different artists but it’s still totally him.
Listened to this in passing on release day but I'm giving it a first real listen now. "Rapture" is a god-tier song. This album is very cool.
