Love this idea. Yes it sounds kind of silly, but trying to select a first dance song was a little tricky because so many songs are, for lack of a better term, gender specific.

I would have loved to use Wake Me by bleachers, but dancing with my husband while hearing "I'd rather be sad with you than with any other girls but you."

DCFC being announced for the Life is Beautiful fest makes me think we're gonna get a new album by September.

 

I’m ready for it. Never fell in love with Kintsugi’s B Side like I hoped I would, but the first half was great. New Death Cab for this autumn sounds perfect to me.

Also new club/theater tour announced. 2 nights at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre, a big departure from their last NYC show at the Garden.

My wife is really bummed that there is no southern California tour date on that list. I see a day off in between Berkeley and Phoenix, so I wonder if an LA-area date will be added.

Still torn on Kintsugi

"No Room in Frame" is a sound they do perfectly
"Black Sun" is not

I realize that's a vague commentary, perhaps its just the song I don't like

 

I love Kintsugi, the only complaint I have is that You’ve Haunted Me All My Life and Hold No Guns are back to back.

 

I start to feel this way more firmly every time I give it a listen but it's still neck and neck for me

 

literally every record through plans is great

 

narrow stairs is okay but i do not like their last two at all. really stoked to finally see them live though.

 

Pumped Charly Bliss is opening for this tour. Definitely going to the Boston date.
