Really though... this cover album is extremely good

 

Since brackets are a thing at the moment, what would people think about a Death Cab bracket?

Oh yeah I don't want to run it, just thought this band have a lot of material so it could work in the future.

I know I'm not the only Something About Airplanes fan here but listening to this it's really striking how good Ben's songwriting was right away.

Am I out to lunch, or was Kintsugi not their first album without Chris Walla? I thought he'd left prior to the recording.

 

It was the last album that featured him, but the first that he did not produce.

I mean all of Death Cab for cutie lol Photo Album is amazing when it's snowing or cold-raining. The shimmering guitars in "Movie Script Ending" literally sound like there's rain on the window in the song lol. And then "We Laugh Indoors" is so sparse and echoey and then it gets really stormy.
