I didn't pick up on the lyrical meaning on first listen.

Just when I thought I was done with this band, they go and pull me back in with this.

 

Interesting song. I feel like that song could've been an Into It. Over It. song. I'm also stoned so my ears might be fooling me.

 

Revisited this album today since I'm seeing them next week.

Sorry not sorry, but I decided this album is their best front to back and my favorite from them. It still gives me the same feeling I get when I listen to the album Futures by Jimmy Eat World. I hope they play a ton of songs from this.

Revisited this album last night and I’m still not really feeling it. I like I Dreamt We Spoke Again, Summer Years, and Northern Lights, but nothing else really grabbed me. Unfortunately seems to be the recurring theme with their last few albums for me

 

The setlist for the Lollapalooza aftershow was pretty wild. It was my first time seeing them and I was kinda blown away.

Damn "To The Ground" is good. My first impression is I already like it more than Kids in '99 which is good too.

 

This is a really cool song, I love how dark it is. Big Narrow Stairs vibes.

 

These songs are both dope af and two of their best since Narrow Stairs wowee
