Narrow Stairs was the last album I really enjoyed from this band. Hoping this new one can reel me back in.

 

I honestly haven't disliked a release from these guys, I'm always shocked that people don't like the last two. Songs like Monday Morning and No Room in Frame are fantastic imo.

 

I won’t be surprised at all if they drop this full song tomorrow.

 

I think Kintsugi has a good amount of great songs and Codes and Keys has a few that I enjoy but they're definitely a step down from what came before.

 

codes and keys is good in the summer tbh. not their best but I am still fond of it

 

just need them to match narrow stairs on this next one, sounds like they took a step in the right direction with that 30 second clip.

 

I just listened to Codes for the first time in a while and idk I still like the vibe of the whole thing and it has some stunning moments. I think of it as a very tense album about a fleeting happiness.

 

WHTFAWVY to NS is one of my favorite runs of any band ever. Looking forward to this.

 

Death Cab for Cutie is a strange band name. I really like it though.

 

I only ever became a DCFC fan around Transatlanticism/Plans era, which was around their peak "radio marketability" if you will, with stuff like "Soul Meets Body" and "I Will Follow You Into the Dark". So for me, every album since then has prettymuch deviated from my expectations.

I wonder why the Open Door EP songs never made an album. This in particular is an excellent DCFC track
