If all of Kintsugi was as good as the first half, I’d be right there with you. It loses me a bit in the tracks 6-9 section.
last time I saw them was right after TYFT and I still think about them playing 60 & Punk all the time
Last time I saw them was during Walla's last tour and the main thing I remember is my lungs getting so damn tight from all the smoke filling the room the moment the bass from I Will Possess Your Heart started.
Song is cool but a little too short for me. I can see it working as an opener or an interlude between album tracks, but with that said, I love the vibe. Very intrigued.
The song’s got cool vibes and it’s cool hearing them change things up a bit, but it’s just a very meh song, in general, in my opinion.
This is also true of TYFT for me. From my perspective, they've basically put out really exceptional EP's masquerading as LP's since Narrow Stairs. Now that I think about it, maybe that's also why I love the Blue EP so much. It's great and it's not pretending to be something it's not.
1. Trasatlanticism 2. Narrow Stairs 3. Plans 4. The Photo Album 5. We Have the Facts & We're Voting Yes 6. Codes & Keys 7. Something About Airplanes 8. Thank You For Today 9. Kintsugi I don't hate any of their albums really
I love how much I love this song! Also, apologies if someone already posted it but pre-orders are up. Death Cab for Cutie | Official Merch Store
Fixing those errors and making everything consistent was probably formative in my becoming a writer/editor for a life path lol
