Yea Plans is an instant time-warp record for me back to college campus days

I always dread going to shows alone but I’m so glad I bit the bullet and went tonight. Hearing Plans front the back live made me realize how important that album was during that time of my life. Instant time warp.
And as someone who had seen plenty of Trans heavy sets, I’m glad they completely neglected that album for the second half. They needed all those songs from Narrow Stairs onward to liven up the mood after the sad 3 song finale of Plans.

Also shocked to see how many people left when Plans was finished. There was still another 45 minutes left of the show!

Plans was one of the records I wore out my first semester of college. Real special.

Same, the second marching bands starts I’m walking through campus freshman year. It’s perfect.

Going to shows solo is as good as if not better than going with people I like at this point in my life.

Always go solo if you need to. I’ve missed so many shows in my life looking back that I wish I just went to because I was uncomfortable going alone. Hell, I just went to Oasis alone in London from the US and it might be the greatest show i’ve ever been to.
