I am at the Chicago show tonight! So excited! I was able to score a cheap ticket on the main floor just a handful of rows back from the stage which is great!

 

I relistened to Songs About Airplanes and You Can Play These Songs With Chords yesterday and had a blast. Some of it is really great in a 90's slowcore type of way.

 

Some fantastic guitar work on those albums

 

I have never been able to enjoy anything before Transatlantasism, I guess maybe I should try to revisit again

 

Facts and Photo Album have some of their best material IMO

 

Facts is great, Airplanes is a vibe, don’t care for Photo Album at all

 

We laugh indoors is a great song

 

Anyone ever met any of the band before? I just met Jason randomly after the show which is pretty cool.

Love that the post-Plans portion of the sets have been different every night so far. Pumped for Brooklyn next week.

 

Caught the show on Tuesday and it was beautiful. The 2nd set was actually perfect for me, as a pretty basic fan. They played all the songs that I was (realistically) hoping for. Such a gorgeous show, and a good one to catch from the balcony too, the way the lights ringed around the stage was cool to see from above.

In 2011 I got to stand on stage while Death Cab performed on The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon. It was to promote Codes & Keys, so I was very shocked that they chose Title Track for their second song.
I've seen them live 8 times and that was the only time I've seen that song. Really hoping they do it in Brooklyn next week. One of my all time favorites.

Could you imagine a triple cover ep of them all covering each other

 

had no idea how badly i needed to see transatlanticism in a stadium but that was unreal levels of powerful. right as the sun was setting no less

 

I really wish they would have toured in california when they were doing those plans shows it was one of my favorite albums when it came out
