I know what you're saying but if I wait in line for an hour and then wait for the show to start for another hour standing on the floor, I don't really want to move my spot. I feel like the onus should be on the people talking to move to the back if that's really want they want to do.
If you keep holding out hope for people to have better manners, you're setting yourself up for a frustrating future my friend
lotta "plants" in this thread I see. I like moving around at shows when possible. fun to hear the show from different spots and get different viewpoints.
I've been so many shows at this point where I've moved around a ton and, honestly, I'm getting older now and can't keep doing that as much anymore. The places where there seems to be more talking is off to the sides or the back where people are usually just standing around and observing/singing. I can't handle being in the thick of the crowd in the middle or front as much anymore like I used to unless it's, like, a post rock show. If that makes me a plant, so be it. Just please make sure to water me.
yeah I know, people suck. This show and Phoebe Bridgers were the worst with people having full on sustained loud conversations during the entire headliner’s set. I’ll just never understand it.
the Death Cab show I went to was seated, but Ben told everyone to get up, dance and get closer to the stage, which ruled
He’s done this the handful of times I’ve seen them at seated shows too. Like right off the bat. Love it.
This is easily my favourite of theirs since 'Narrow Stairs' - It's a great consistent listen (Which their last 3 albums definitely haven't been)
It's about as much fun as getting kicked in the balls repeatedly Most people at gigs are bellends, and it's getting worse
Not coming anywhere remotely close to me but already looking into flying out to stay with a buddy in Seattle. Cannot miss this.
This is incredible. What an amazing evening this is going to be. The Postal Service & Death Cab for Cutie: Give Up & Transatlanticism 20th Anniversary Tour
