I’m in the same boat haha, but they tour often enough I’m sure it won’t be long before they come back!

Ugh but I am not patient. Also I feel like they play theaters and stuff a lot, I would’ve rather seen them here haha but still you’re right. And they’re due for a festival soon

Let’s all agree to see them the next time they roll through Chicago.

Finally got around to listening to this and actually listened to it twice back to back. Really enjoying this. So pleasantly surprised by this album. Love the tones and overall atmosphere of this album. Easily their best since Narrow Stairs and I’m so happy to genuinely enjoy an album from this band again after so many years.

Last night was fun, the sound at The Salt Shed came around from my first visit there a month ago.

They’re clearly holding back a lot of Trans for next year

I hope this isn’t the only tour they’ll play a lot of AM because I’m becoming obsessed with it

Love this album, it's inspired me to revisit their discography. I'd forgotten how consistent they are, so many great songs!

Apparently this didnt even debut in the Top 50 this week. That's rough, and kind of surprising. Thank You For Today debuted at #13 for reference.

  14. I'm surprised. Maybe I'm just blinded by the acclaim in this forum, but I've heard "Here to Forever" on alt radio and seen a few Late Night performances

Their sequencing choice of the tracks that were released prior to the album probably didn’t help. Roman Candles being first was a bold choice. It made me pay attention but I could easily see someone else being turned off by it.

that and they’ve worked in Foxglove - which is the “Trasatlanticism” from the new LP - in the set.

I was so worried about Foxglove with it being described as a spoken word track, and it's so damn good - it is absolutely a highlight of the album for me.

I haven't been following along with other releases but it seems like music doesn't hold the cultural zeitgeist it used to unless it's Taylor, Beyonce, or someone of that ilk.

    Got a light?

Wish tickets prices weren’t so high but I am probably gonna pull the trigger for Saturday, don’t wanna miss the chance to see them play basically this whole album and the setlist is solid (strongly prefer Bixby over Sound of Settling for encore)

Finally listened to this. Really good stuff.

Didn’t expect to connect to a song like I did the title track. One of them that came along at exactly the right time.

Pepper, I Miss Strangers are also massive highlights for me on a purely emotive level.

I also really find myself loving the title track. I really wanted to see them last week, but Covid had other ideas and I'm still bummed.
