    It’s been well over a decade since i truly enjoyed anything Death Cab has put out, so my take might not be worth much, but here we go- i think the song is good but i think the production (specifically the drums) really bring the song down especially when we see Jason going ham on the toms and ride cymbal for the first half of the song and that intensity that we are seeing in the video isn’t translating well at all in the video with the track.

    I get that. I think they've spent the last decade attempting to define what sort of band they're willing to be for themselves AND for their 20+ year fanbase. This song represented a completely new sonic departure from TYFT that it has me ecstatic to hear the rest. I feel like they've always been a band that challenges what they're "supposed" to sound like, which was my first reason to really love this song and video.
