I can confirm it is hands down the most unique, ambitious record they've ever put out. Which is crazy for a band's tenth album.

I had that feeling since Roman candles came out that this is going to be their best in a while

i'm not a huge fan of the band but it's the best song i've heard from them and i've listened to a lot of their stuff.

Songs fine. The chorus feels like a pre-chorus to me, I was waiting for a bigger resolve. But it’s nice.

It's easily the most straightforward song on the record so makes sense as a single, but the fact that it has you waiting for a bigger resolve sort of makes sense in the context of the album. For some reason the opening lyric really hooked me too.

They're my favorite band so I love their entire discog (save for maybe Codes and Keys...) but yes, if you dig Roman Candles, you'll be especially pleased.

My favorite band too! Codes and keys has its jams. Kintsugi is only half good and TYFT I felt was pretty mailed in, but still had some jams. But yeah, I’ve been waiting for them to make a big move since this new line up started. I’m so stoked for this record!

I think Kintsugi is actually a super underappreciated record in their discog. (Save for 'Good Help'... one of my least favorite songs of theirs if I'm being honest, haha)

I feel similarly about Little Wanderer!
