damn I still remember the first time they played in LA after this dropped. one of the loudest sets ive ever heard.
I saw them in Chicago and it was also one of the loudest sets I’ve ever seen. Ready to have my ears blown out.
I’ve mentioned this before in the TA thread for Stage Four but the last time I’ve seen them was the day before my grandmother passed. Stage Four really hits home for me as a result and it’s been too difficult to see them since. The Chicago date is on her birthday. There’s no way I can’t go and have this experience. If you see someone sobbing in the pit, that’s me. Thanks to both of these bands for giving me a cathartic experience that night.
lol at a 10th anniversary remaster for an album that has always sounded perfectly fine. pretty lazy lads
george was on a podcast talking about this and said because they were going for a death metal sound he feels that the album sounds thin so thats why they went back.
When I lived in LA a decade ago they played the entire record at the echo and it was amazing life changing shit
The only thing I felt that I noticed was the cymbal crashes felt more distinct, but that could be me talking out of my ass and it's not like my car speakers are all that great lol
