Canary Yellow is definitely my song of the year.
is that Spirit in Pittsburgh? Not a fan of that venue at all, but that does look cool
Yupp. I agree generally, I’d always prefer a mr smalls show over one at Spirit. But this was definitely a cool experience.
Outside of some drink prices, I'm a Spirit fan. I've had positive experiences both upstairs and downstairs (playing and in the audience), and the pizza is killer. Seems like there's always a cover though.
Drink prices could honestly be worse. At least it’s not Stage AE. Disagree about the pizza, but I’m from NJ so I’m super snobby about pizza. :P
Woah. Great tour!! Zeal & Ardor rule too, I don’t listen to a TON of metal but I kinda mentally group them with Deafheaven in that I feel like both bands are doing something fresh that can really resonate with non-metal heads like myself.
kinda sucks the philly date is the decibel fest and theyll probably be headlining different nights and ill have to buy two full price tickets, but the rest of that line up is pretty cool
I just can't quite get these guys to click, but maybe seeing them live will finally do it.
I feel like Baizley definitely did the artwork for the poster.
Going to this tour is the closest I’ll come to reaching the gates of heaven
I'm going to see more shows in March after I move than I've seen here in two years haha
I think it’s Marald van Haasteren, who John’s collaborated with in the past.
I've said it before, i'll say it again: THIS IS A SUNDAY MORNING ALBUM BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE
this album is fucking beautiful and it makes me feel things that I'd forgotten how to feel
Just bought tickets for @sophos34 and I at the NJ date. Let’s get metal chorus
The Story of Deafheaven in 5 Songs
the design of that site is very cool
B-side from the last album. I dig it.
More metal sounding than the songs that made it on the album.
Sounds more like a b-side from NB
Yeah that definitely doesn't seem to fit on OCHL
