I don't fuck with DIIV because Devin Ruben Perez is a class-A piece of shit but that's still pretty cool.

 

Really dislike Spirit and wish they didn't always get shows I want to see

 

I've gotta find a way to see this band this fall but it's maddening because I missed them in Chicago last weekend since I was sick, and they're playing in StL tonight a week before I move there. Might just have to drive to Champaign this fall

 

I may have already listened to this more than any other release this year.

 

It's definitely my most listened of this year. That and Rolo Tomassi are neck-and-neck.

Anyone know if there’s a tour variant of the vinyl? Possibly gonna sell my pair of tickets for that and some cash.

Fantastic performances but geeze the camera work on those vids kind of sucks a lot. I'm definitely not an expert on these things but it seems weird to have someone just walking back and forth with a camera in front of the band.

 

Isn't that how all Audiotree sessions are filmed? I'm no expert either but there was nothing that really seemed out of the ordinary to me.

Glad I finally got around to watching these - I agree that they're fantastic performances and it's captivating to watch them play in an empty venue like that

nah. it’s definitely different. they’re typically in a pretty small studio and not a venue. they did too much.

 

Audiotree Far Out series are usually shot on location somewhere. The Chelsea Wolfe one is incredible.

 

Watched those Far Out vids yesterday. Made Honeycomb click on a level that didn’t occur before, definitely
