sounds like it could have come out between Sunbather and New Bermuda. The post-rock and blackgaze are back, but even thrashier and with some wild atmospheric bells and whistles. I'm one listen in and it's gotta be top three for them
Overall a bit underwhelming, but Body Behavior was a nice surprise. Amazing! Magnolia is still peak though. Edit: Forgot that I have two songs left that I didn't have time to listen to before work.
Body Behaviour is absolutely fucking superb. Album is no disappointment of course but I kinda wish all the songs leant in that direction now.
Had a damn near spiritual experience listening to this on the train to work this morning. Love it. I can't wait to sink my teeth further into it on repeat listens, of which there will be many.
Just put it on, have to stop for a morning of meetings but Doberman already has me amped. I cannot wait for their show at The Metro.
I definitely need more spins with this. I can tell it’s really good, but as of right now, I think there were higher highs with Infinite Granite and I wish there was a little more singing to be honest.
I agree. I think it’s really awesome, but I agree - at least with the first part, and at least at the moment
