I’d put it on par with New Bermuda. But I think New Bermuda is the best metal album of the 2010s so that’s insanely high praise

  6. this is where I'm at as well. depends on whether I want something dark and condensed and thrashy or slightly more bright and kaleidoscopic

Just hopping in to say how much I adore this album. It came out right after a breakup so it was a tough listen for a while. It’s the perfect blend of all of their sounds so far while still feeling incredibly fresh and it’s the best George has ever sounded. Wish I could find a vinyl copy for less than $45.

that article seems to completely ignore the possibility of a one off single, such as from the kettle or black brick

it says a smaller-scale release is also a possibility (and my mind went to at least a one-off if not a few songs at most)

    Regular

George has alluded to the band releasing an EP next a few times on different podcasts throughout the year, so that's what I would heavily expect. Definitely not a new album or anything anytime soon.
