Saw them on Thursday in Allentown and they were killer. Was a little disappointed they played nothing from Infinite Granite in the set, but it was awesome to drive like 10 minutes for a show. Usually have to hit up Philly or NYC for a show.

 

I want Deafheavens pre show house music to be played around me at all times. Such a vibe.

Band is so good. Very glad it was a new album heavy set. Amethyst is somehow the greatest song.

Seen them twice by not since ordinary. So hope with play Nashville next year. Been almost a decade. They were one of the Covid cancellation shows.

 

haven't listened in a few months but this is really good still

 

I gotta give this one more spin before the years out. I also still need the vinyl

 

The vinyl has been pricey as far as I've seen, but I also need a copy

 

Still sitting as my AOTY atm but I have a handful to still check out and a few to revisit.

Also I'm thinking this is their best record.

 

nearly picked up the vinyl back in April, but the store had it for like $42, and i had only spun it once (and was also picking up another record). might see if there's a reasonable discount from some other vendor in the coming weeks.

It's those two, Arms Length, Moving Mountains and Callous Daonoys as my top 5.

Not in my top 10 but still a really good record. Probably top 15-20 once I hammer out my list.
