They always come up with interesting album themes, I’ll give them that.

 

learning that Justin Meldal-Johnsen produced again (never a bad move), I'd expect more curveballs. looking forward to it.

 

Amazing track. Loved Infinite Granite but also am stoked that this goes so hard… very curious if the album is primarily this heavy or if it’ll be a mix of everything.

 

Hoping for a mix personally and I think we’ll get it.

For sure, they’re taking the Alcest route by experimenting with full on shoegaze and then returning back to the blackgaze roots.

The guest spots have me thinking we'll get a mix of stuff.

I love the shorter rollout. Hopefully there's a CD version still to come. I stopped buying records, so it's back to the 90s for me.

I liked the last one but I definitely prefer them to mix it up, the blend of styles is what works so well.

 

Song is top tier. Love the art, too.

 

Cynical take: they’re going back to this sound because hardcore/heavy music is having a moment right now in rock music.

 

Maybe they were sick of people falling asleep while they played their dull IG songs
