They tend to play most if not all of their new record on the first tour for an album. This one I would gladly watch all the way through.
Yeah I’m a bit curious what their setlist will look like. I expect it to be heavy on the new album, obviously, but the only other songs that I think are no-brainers are Dream House and Brought to the Water. Maybe they’ll play another oldie or two, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s, like, six or seven new songs and those two aforementioned songs as the encore
New album, Lament for Wasps/Mombassa, Gifts for the Earth, Honeycomb/Dream house and/or Sunbather would be perfect imo
Would love to see either Lament for Wasps or Gifts for the Earth (or Luna), but I’m done holding my breath at this point for those NB cuts at this point I wonder if they’ll even play anything from IG
LPWP is such an amalgamation of all of their records we could get some varied setlists and it’d all work, depending on what they want to lean into that night. The IG songs can help their setlists stretch longer and go from 50-1hr 15min
can't win em all! but really, this is very much not my thing, unfortunately... but i checked it out because i saw that trauma ray (who is very much my thing) are opening up for them here in a few weeks.
Three full listens in I think Im getting to the point where I can picture most songs in my head. I think this album is really defined by its last three songs. I need to read the lyrics still, but I think the narrative of the ending is maybe the most impactful thing they've done
I can't get over the fact that they somehow executed everything they've done leading up to this point and STILL managed to explore new territory on this thing. Unreal band
