Suit looks great. The 7-year old in me loves it.

 

I like it, but I also need to see it with the mask on

 

Somewhere there's an alternate universe where cheesy 90s superhero films never stopped being made and every costume still has sculpted nipples and Tim is just living his best life.

 

I’m trying to figure out why this costume is mediocre-at-best (because this kinda thing is fascinating to me), and I think it’s a few elements tied to one core issue: too yellow.

They’ve made the yellow chest area wider than it is in the Astonishing design, which is understandable given the padded/armor chest. However, they’ve done so while maintaining that version’s mostly yellow pants without trunks. Factor in the added arms (which at least have inner blue) and the puzzling choice to make the belt mostly yellow, and the whole balance is thrown off. It feels closer to something a special AIM agent might wear than a Logan costume.

also Hugh Jackman is like 7 feet tall. the proportions are wonky

 

give hugh a break maybe he just didn't wanna dehydrate himself to the brink of death for this movie

 

it would still look weird with this physique

Been looking at the photo again and actually started getting excited

Turns out I'm a big nerd

If he does have the mask it'll kind of be Very Cool

 

A set photo has shown a literal movie studio logo. haha

 

Some of the set photos show the back of the suit and it doesn’t appear that the mask is attached. I know that doesn’t really mean anything but I was hoping it was just so I could be more hyped

It might be a separate helmet piece. But either way they probably want Jackman's recognizable mug uncovered for as much of the movie as possible

 

This movie is going to wind up being what some people thought Multiverse of Madness was going to be.

 

Seems like it a bit, yea.

 

just saw it. if the actors strike on Wednesday this movie will not come out for a while

but I am hype
