Yeah, and this joke in DP2 actually worked cause the cast WAS there, they just didn’t wanna hang out with Deadpool (or at least that’s the “in universe” explanation). In this it just would’ve just been another dick joke.

 

I was at a pub recently when Bye Bye Bye came on so my friends and I laughed about something in relation to the song. I've never felt so old as when the waitress chimed in and said, "Oh this is that song from Deadpool, my little brother loves it!

Such a hit has been relegated to "that song from Deadpool."

 

Whereas it should have been relegated to one of the circles of hell. I get it.

 

They’re certainly not shying away from it.

It’s probably how Queen fans felt when “Bohemian Rhapsody” became “That Wayne’s World” song 20 years later.

 

One of my favorite bits is hearing a song that was already very popular and going "Oh I love *random movie that song was in*!"

 

Don't compare N Sync fans to Queen fans, please, I beg of you

 

Queen fans said “Bohemian Rhapsody” was a good movie. They deserve it.

 

Bye bye bye is a great song if you disagree you’re tacky and dumb

 

I would much rather listen to N Sync than Queen

 

I’m waiting for the day Queen releases something as good as No Strings Attached
