This is a recurring issue with the character in pretty much all forms of media yeah. It's compounded by fans having a pretty wide range of expectations for him, from a pure comedy, fourth-wall breaking joke character to someone who's weighed down by decades of trauma and only uses comedy to cope

 

The fake outrage stuff on the internet this weekend especially is just exhausting

I mean, I wasn’t keeping track of things like that haha but he probably yells Jesus Christ multiple times. It’s a pretty common expression as a reaction and when used that way can be viewed as blaspheming.

But it’s just a movie and for them it’s just a common expression to react with. The movie is not out for Jesus haha

That’s why I had to share it. Lol

 

this was fine. not amazing but not godawful. could've done without some jokes/choice words (& the dance sequence at the beginning), but it didn't feel any more obnoxious than the first two. still a fun time overall.

If they left at 25 minutes would they have seen the crucified Wolverine? Between the opening fight and the Happy and Pararox scenes, they may have dipped before.
