I still can’t believe we got a film where Tatum’s Gambit teamed up with Snipes’ Blade. Never even thought of those 2 as possible characters for this film.
Probably won't end up watching this until I'm off call again, so in the meantime today we watched Logan. I'd seen it, of course, but my mom hadn't. That ending still makes me tear up so bad. Next weekend we'll watch the Deadpools. I actually still haven't seen 2.
Deadpool's time in Wolverine's X-Force. Basically Apocalypse is dead and reborn as a younger version dubbed Genesis. An ongoing question is if he should be killed out of hand, and Deadpool is the one not only most against it, but is the one who shows the most compassion towards him.
Like this shit is extreme, I’d still rather watch this than Madame Web and The Marvels. Definitely agree with that last one though.
I must have missed the woke joke because I don’t remember it at all… when was that? I did go to the restroom at one point
So easy rewrite to make this movie better - get rid of Cassandra Nova. Make the cameos the villains. Have all the failed franchises team up to destroy the MCU timeline. Would give the meta nature of the movie more purpose
is there really some sort of conservative-adjacent byline running through this film (or at least one that's supposed to "ruffle SJW feathers")? like sure, these movies generally pander to a specific audience, but it's also not that serious? for the record, that's not an approval of language like what's mentioned above, but from everything i have heard about this, these aren't really the elements i see people getting mad about?
Watched the first Deadpool movies this week for the first time and then this one today. All of them are fine. Cameos were fun in this one and I'm a general fan of Reynolds/Jackman, but I don't have a desire to see it again in theaters.
