Sorta kinda. They’re not all good. A few respectable sources say it’s just a repeat of the first one and doesn’t take any risks which is kind of a bummer but we’ll see.
Everything I've read about this (minus a couple character death decisions, one of which was possibly undone during the credits) have me super excited. I loved a lot about Deadpool, but I didn't fully love the film. What I want out of this is largely the same as what I want out of Ant-Man and the Wasp: more of what the first film did right, just slightly more fully realized. And, that's what it kinda sounds like to me.
Thanks to T-Mobile Tuesdays I was able to grab a 9pm showing ticket on Atom for $4. I was gunna moviepass the movie, but for only $4 and to be able to reserve a seat opening night in advance, its worth it. Plus if its a fun movie I can see it a week or two later when its less crowded with my moviepass.
Darn, I read that the screenwriters wanted a post credit scene where Chris Evans Human Torch interviews for X-Force. They didn't say why it was cut (whether it was vetoed or they just changed their mind), but it didn't get far enough along to actually ask Chris. Man, though, that would've ruled.
