Hi Yukio

 

There were some clever parts to it, but it felt like it was a sequel making lateral moves. Didn't really improve on the original in any way, which I think if you're just looking to hang out with Deadpool, is fine. Still - I can't believe there is a movie in 2018 that's cracking dubstep jokes.

 

Still better than the BvS reference

 

Just got out of this, overall i thought it sucked (sprinkled lightly with some great moments). Pretty disappointed. The beginning just felt off/weird to me and it never really found it’s footing. Really all over the place, and literally there wasn’t one time where i found the jokes to be at least semi-funny/clever. Cable was probably my favorite thing about it.

 

Zeitgeist is a really minor character, both in Allred's X-Force/X-Statix run and, from what I've read, in this movie. But, the whole X-Force gag in this movie is inspired by Allred's X-Force. Bummer that no one gave Allred a heads up. Capitalism, right?

Can’t believe people are liking this, especially more than the first. The first is okay, I enjoyed it, but I felt like this was a mess and came close to hating it. Exepcted way more from the direction and action with Leitch involved.

 

Honestly, I can't believe people are disliking this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I can understand liking it less than the first, there's probably a good argument for that somewhere. But I don't get how you could enjoy the first but not this one. I don't know of any flaws DP2 has that isn't shared by DP1. Feel free to fill me in

 

I liked parts of it. The writing did feel pretty weak though. And certain characters thrown in for literally no real reason. Black Tom Cassidy being a standout odd one. It felt like there was a whooooole lot of pandering to fans rather than trying to make a legitimately good film.

I felt about the same with this and the first, it's still hard to tell if Wade is annoying on purpose or just annoying and it wants to be a parody of a superhero movie while also being a superhero movie, and it goes super heavy on the fourth wall
The female characters are def underwritten, Yukio was cute and Domino worked because Zazie is a queen but the whole thing with Vanessa's death was just like sigh there are other ways to motivate characters than a tired dead girlfriend tropeThere's also no reason to have the homophobic jokes, hey guys isn't it hilarious to see men be tender with each other look Colossus is cradling Wade
also TJ Miller is so ugly and inside and out
I liked Russell and Cable
I feel like this came across meaner and more critical than I meant, I overall liked it but there was also some lame stuff

also I wonder if donda esta la bibliotecha was a Community reference, do not go in there was obviously Ace Ventura

 

I had tears from laughing at the little legs, particularly when he stood up bare assed.

 

The wife and I really enjoyed this. Got a babysitter and just enjoyed the two hours of feeling like we were dating again seeing superhero flicks. I think we both enjoyed it more than the original as well.

This was great. Loved the post credits scenes.

It’s still hard for me to believe that Deadpool and D2 happened.

 

This film really sets up Domino and Cable nicely. It’s a shame that X-Force made not be filmed.

 

So assuming that an X-Force film can be made, was this film implying that the team will just be Domino, Cable, Firefist, and maybe Nega, Colossus, and Yukio? Doesn’t leave much room for additions.

Is all hope of little X-23 returning out of the picture? Since Hope is now Cables biological daughter from the future, and it seems like he’s leaving her there, I think it would be kinda cool for him to adopt Laura and have her take Hope’s role as the badass little daughter sidekick.

 

Really liked it - it was everything I expected it to be

 

I think I liked this more than the first. Mostly because of the characters. Didn't laugh that much though but that's alright

 

I enjoyed this more than the first one by quite a bit actually.

 

I watched the first this morning for the first time and just got out of this. This was good, but the first was way better

 

It's still kind of startling just how big Deadpool is as a pop figure now, sure he's always had a niche appeal to the hot topic crowd and what not..

But I'm just looking at the amount of screenings DP2 has at my theater and it's super impressive.

 

I also don’t think it was the whole cinematic line. I feel like they would’ve made it look even worse if they were trying to parody it. During the test screenings it was said people wanted more domino and i think Brolin also said this in his interviews where a lot was added to that action sequence so I have a feeling it was just done in additional photography and didn’t have enough time to really make it look good

 

As for the movie I loved it but not as much as the first. I didn’t totally buy in with the story or the emotional stuff like the first one despite its earnest effort to try, which i appreciated. Brolin was great but Cable as a character was just kind of thin minus just why he’s here as far as the plot. Like as somebody who doesn’t read the comments I still have no idea who he is. Firefist I wasn’t totally on board with.

But I still had a buttload of fun. Deadpool was great as always and Reynolds killed it. Domino/Zackery was amazing and one of the highlights. I didn’t laugh at every joke as expected in a comedy with so many attempts but definitely the majority hit and some hit hard.
