Nice, only a few weeks away

 

Finally!!

 

Forgot all about this show. Never watched S2, perhaps I'll give it a shot

 

Will definitely need to rewatch the entire show lol but super excited for the ending

 

Nice! Although I don’t remember a single thing that happened last season

 

I don't remember if the drain ended in a car crash or if they was the season before. I know Marsen died in the pool though

 

Yeah that’s so season two ended. Season one was Marsden in the pool

 

Cool cool cool, was he driving the car and not actually dead, or am I remembering wrong?

The Marsden in season 2 is season 1 Marsden’s twin brother that no one knew about. He has a drinking problem that resurfaces and is drunk driving when he hits the car that Applegate and Cardellini are in

New season out today!

 

I might run the series back before starting this one. I’m sure there’s a decent recap online if not one included on Netflix, but 2 1/2 years is a long time

So excited for this tomorrow, have a 5.5hr flight to Mexico and this is going to make it so much more enjoyable.

Had season 1 on as I worked today. I’d kinda forgotten just how electric the chemistry between the two leads can be, their dialogue and dynamic in general feels so natural

 

Fun little Easter egg I’ve noticed while getting through the series again - the season 1 episode titles all are focused on “I”, season 2 is “You”, and season 3 is “We”

Glad I went through the series again though, a ton of stuff I’d completely forgotten

“you’re really getting big, aren’t you? like….. overnight….”

 

Pretty conflicted on this season as a whole, on the one hand I like the lean in on Jen and Judy’s relationship, but on the other I feel like it kind of abandoned a lot of what made this show so addicting to begin with — y’know, the criminal aspect lol. And obviously the “blame everything on the Greek mafia” thing feels like an enormous cop out, regardless of weather or not the story continue after the show ends. But yeah it was nice to revisit these characters and also be reminded of how Christina Applegate can act her ass off. Only just learning that she may be quitting acting, this show would not be the worst way to go out

 

Appreciate the Christina and Katey Sagal reunion as well.

 

Thought this was quite the gut punch. I was nowhere near ready for the final season to focus on what it did. Final episode made me want to hug my best friend

 

I don’t think I loved this season as much I wanted to

 

I definitely enjoyed it which is a good overall sentiment of the show in general. Cardellini is perfect as usual. Also I really like Karen. Her small role this season was perfect

 

I’m not sure how I feel about the end. I found the first two seasons so fun. The cancer plotline was just too damn heavy. I think they pulled it off performance-wise but man it’s not really what I wanted out of this show
