Yes, Flash is looking more and more like a video game when he runs. It's grossly obvious that the cgi is barely referencing Grant Gustin at this point. I cannot wait until you get to the ridiculous Speed Force story. And I almost forgot about the weird broken covid season with all the shit in the mirror. There's just so much GREATNESS ahead of you.
I can't speak on the special effects as I don't know/care about them but the dumbness just gets so much better
God, Nora is the absolute worst and a horrible actress, but the additions of Cecille and Sherloque are great. This show is so fucking bad.
Season 6 is ok as you get up to Crisis, and Crisis is it's own wonderful mess. I actually mean that in a positive way because while it is messy (IM LOOKING AT YOU BATWOMAN) it is also cool in its scope as the last crossover. But after Crisis... buckle up baby.
I will say I feel like the show has done a really bad job of doing justice to Iris as it has progressed. If they had the actress that was Patty Spivot play Iris that would have been incredible. I loved their chemistry on screen. And hey, she's available since you know, Homelander removed her from the boys series lol
I thought Crisis was mostly good. Pretty impressive how many characters/cast members they squeezed into five episodes. I’m glad the last two episodes of Legends felt like a series finale. I’m still surprised they didn’t get a 6 or 8 episode order to wrap up but they did such a good job closing out the story that it’s hard to be too bummed about it
I'm only like 3 episodes behind current airing but it makes no semblance of sense or coherent plot whatsoever most of the time. I'm just invested and along for the ride at this point
Arrow season 2 forever. I stopped halfway through season four and then jumped back in for the final season. A shame they wasted one of the eight episodes on the back door pilot
I just watched the season finale of Season 6 with the mirrorverse thing. Felt like a mid season finale and was one of the worst storylines I've ever witnessed in any television show. They just THREW all these new characters at you and are like "they're part of the team now! Trust them and be interested in them!" and none of it was earned and most of them are badly written, terribly acted, boring characters. I have no faith in season 7, but I will be starting that today. I will say Crisis was pretty cool, especially since it has actual consequences like destroying trillions of lives, but I don't think they go far enough into that part.
Watched the last four seasons in the last couple weeks, probably my favorite DC CW show. Really disappointed to see this and Batwoman canceled, especially considering they had wlw relationships. (And apparently Black Lightning did as well? I've only finished the first season.) Really bad look. I wasn't as upset about Supergirl ending because it went out on its own terms. (And I always thought Kara+Lena was a long shot anyway). There's no shortage of superhero media to look forward to, but as far as queer representation goes this really fucking sucks. I never started the last season of Arrow and I'm a few seasons behind on The Flash, but I think after I catch up on Black Lightning (and the last few episodes of Supernatural, I guess) I'm gonna probably stop watching CW.
Legends is by far their strongest show and they clearly don't know it because they cancelled it. I get it's not as popular, but that's because CW/DC are terrible at marketing it.
It seems like they’re overhauling the whole network so I’m not really surprised. I think they’re going to be moving away from the superhero/SC stuff in general. Legends was still a “best kept secret” kind of thing so I’m not surprised that at some point they decided the critical praise wasn’t enough to overshadow viewership.
I think HBO will have more DC stuff or whatever in the next five years. Also, I'm halfway through season 7 and this is fucking trash
Legends was def the most consistently entertaining of the DC shows, especially after Arrow and Flash started to burn out. I didn't catch the last season, but I'll get around to it someday.
