"People seem to think we should have a heart-to-heart." "We don't have hearts, so where does that leave us?" Corny as it may be, I liked that line ha. Fun episode overall. It was nice to see the whole team fight together again. Besides the brief appearance last ep, feels like we've had a lack of firestorm recently.
Now I just want to see her character join a band like Black Canary did in that recent comic book series.
Damn this is the second time that's happened to them. I'm still surprised the pilot didn't leak like it did for Flash and Supergirl
Somehow missed the news that Jonah Hex was gonna be appearing in this show, man I got so excited when he walked into that bar!
Ray bulleting through that hunter was surprisingly violent. Jonah Hex was cool, but I wish he was more of a scene-stealer. Felt like he was just kinda there. Thought the actor did pretty well, though.
That scene at the end with Sara and Lance made me really sad we don't get to see much of them together
I thought last nights episode would have made a good season finale, kind of annoying Kendra didn't go through with it and take out Savage once and for all
two episodes left until the finale I believe? I wonder what season 2 will look like with no Vandal Savage. I read an interview online with the producers that season two will be very different in concept
Last couple eps have been great.. except for the love triangle stuff. Leviathan fight was cool. Savage messing with everyone was fun. I'm tired of watching Kendra struggle between Ray and Carter. She literally sacrificed the salvation of humanity for a Carter that wasn't even from her lifetime. And she just took Savage's word that only he could fix him, which turned out to not even be the case.
Also not a fan of the love triangle stuff. They really need to give the women in these shows other things to focus on.
Ya. I thought she was great the other ep when she figures out she can use the mace and beats the hell out of Savage, but it's ruined by Carter's return. It's not doing Ray's character any good either. Forgot to mention. I really liked the flashback moment with Sara and Nyssa. I thought for sure Savage was going to tell her about Laurel.
One of my biggest problems with Ray/Kendra is that they spent two years falling in love that we didn't get to see. I have a hard time investing in it and the confusion and struggle involved with it for both of them since we saw them start to develop chemistry and then we're just told "these two are in love now, believe it"
This show's been pretty great. It somehow gets away with being goofier and campier, yet the stakes feel higher than the other shows. Still, they can't help but bring people back from the dead.
