I think I’d prefer Hoult as the DCU Batman over Lex. One of the Skarsgård brothers fit Lex way more in my mind
I actually just watched Pearl yesterday. David Corenswet was good in it, even if it was a small role.
i had forgotten that was him, but yeah, he was good in it. also saw it mentioned elsewhere that going for an older lois/younger clark kinda fits the comics more than the recent iterations we've gotten
Honestly think its for the best. The Suicide Squad is a cool team, but I feel like people starting making stuff for them with weight that's heavier than the actual interest in the team.
I'm cool with it if it helps him focus on even cooler superhero stuff like the new Superman movie. I'm getting a little burnt out on villain-focused stories.
Will got to my grave insisting James Gunn's "The Suicide Squad" should have been titled "The New Suicide Squad". Would have instantly separated this movie from the David Ayer film for general audiences, a nice reference to the comic run of the same title for fans, AND a bonus joke that pays off what happens in the film itself.
Thought episodes 2 and 3 of S&L were kinda boring, does this season get as good as the pilot again any time soon??
Edi Gathegi is good in For All Mankind, so that's cool to see. Haven't seen Isabela Merced in anything, though I'll probably watch the new Transformers this weekend. edit: oh, I guess she was in The Last Knight, not the new one. I definitely saw that but don't remember anything.
