I do feel kind of bad for Hoult at this point.

 

Brosnahan should be a good Lois. I’ve never seen anything with Corenswet. If they’re who Gunn wanted for his take on these characters, I trust him.

 

I remember Hoult being mentioned for Lex Luthor at one point and I’d love to see him in that role.

 

That would work really well I think.

 

All-Star Superman in terms of character tone. Birthright and Superman For All Seasons would be safe guesses, too.

You gotta feel bad for the creators of Bizarro, Brainiac, Cyborg, Imperiex, Livewire, Metallo, Mongul, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Parasite, Silver Banshee, Solomon Grundy, Titano, and Ultraman at this point

Meanwhile at Marvel, general audiences know who Baron Zemo and Nebula are

Lex is generally a good first superman villain, though I hope we make it far enough in this universe to see Brainiac.

But we already know who Batman is.

 

Most days it’s probably my number one favorite DC comic of all time. Grant Morrison & Frank Quitely really popped off with that one.

 

Maybe I’ll end up being terribly wrong, but I don’t think Lex is gonna be the main (or at least sole) villain. Brainiac and/or Parasite playing into the story seems pretty dang likely to me.

 

No idea who David Corenswet is but I’m glad we have Superman cast.

 

Parasite in particular would fit Gunn’s horror roots. He could make that dude gnarly if he wanted.
