Well... at least I have The Batman - Part II by Matt Reeves to look forward to.

 

I just really hope they step up the CGI in the DCU now that Gunn and Safran are in control. The DCEU’s has been so fucking bad

 

The best thing about this is that it drastically lowers a Flash sequel. Hopefully Andy can refrain from including Miller in his script.

 

That's the only Batman movie I ever owned physically

seems like David Corenswet and Emma Mackey are all but cast

 

I don’t know who any of these people are besides Hoult but based on the eye test I’d give Superman to the last guy

 

corenswet is great in we own the city and pretty good in hollywood, despite the material not being great. he'd be good. also feel like all the women are pretty well known?

 

Yeah idk any of them besides Hoult either, but David definitely looks the most similar to superman to me

 

I love Hoult and think he could have been a great Batman (maybe he'll be seriously looked at for Brave and the Bold) but I'm all aboard the Corenswet train.

 

I liked Emma best for Lois, but I think if true, this will be great.

Seems like good casting looks-wise, I'm not familiar with their work though .

I saw someone in the replies also mention Matt Bomer as Superman and I could totally see that, but I get that they're looking for someone younger

 

Sick! Exactly who I wanted, good for him.

 

Those two were my favorite of the six choices.

Still cautiously optimistic about what James Gunn is cooking up.

 

Do we have any inkling what he's drawing inspiration from? I don't recall how much info he gave in their announcement video awhile back.
