Tbf, if I was trying to portray a character for 15 years and was told I’m cut two months after finally releasing the first film I’d be mad. Dude should have just waited two more years to play the role.
I wanna like The Rock but the amount he overhypes literally everything he does has really started to wear thin lol
The main thing I dislike is that he is is just a salesman trying to sell his image and merch and he uses his roles to reinforce that image. A movie with Black Adam fighting Superman would be difficult because I’m sure he would not agree to a role that includes him losing the war in a physical fight. His image is macho so that’s what every role of his will be required to show.
The fact an announcement was made for just Cavill and not all of the Snyderverse ensemble worries me a little. Like you can't dump Cavill but consider keeping Gadot.
Had not heard of this either, but apparently it’s this: The Broke and the Beautiful: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Accused of Being Co-Conspirator in Fraud Lawsuit
I can’t speak for the author of the tweet but I assumed it something to do with the “actually Black Adam was profitable” stuff?
Just finishing Black Adam on HBO Max and I've never been more happy that they seem to be doing a total reboot.
