The my time to shine leaker is the same leaker that gave away about 90% of no way home, right down to the story, characters, dialogue, etc. They’re pretty accurate with their info. I thought Cavill was a great Kal-El given the material he had to work with. It just makes no sense WB is willing to stick with Ezra Miller as the Flash, but when it comes to Cavill they’re just like nah. WB can get bent. Hopefully Kevin calls up Cavill and gives him a good role in the MCU.
not doubting you, but did they get to those developments first? was someone there before them? this is honestly my first even hearing of them. my bad if i presumed them to be some "we got this covered" type of outfit
I’m not sure if they got there first because I tried to avoid No Way Home leaks until I saw the film and then I went back and read the leaks just out of curiosity to see if they were correct.
fair point, and while i'm sure this sounds like i'm moving goalposts, but there are definitely some folks out there that'll have accurate sources a fraction of the time (not saying this applies to MTTS) and uses those instances to gloss over the more frequent times they get it wrong. this thread sums it up better than me:
MTTS was the first on a good portion of the leaks. Even when others were saying she was full of it she hammered down on her claims and they ended up being true. But if this is true I’d have no hope for a DC cinematic universe until Feige himself jumps sides and takes control. Shazam and Wonder Woman have at least had solo films, but it sounds like DC would once again be rushing to the finish line to pump out Justice League. In the grand scheme of things DC should stick to solo films, IMO. Let Marvel do the universe stuff while DC focuses on solo trilogies. Edit: Supergirl, Batgirl, Flash, Shazam, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman would be a good team, though. Just eh about DC
i'm with you on the bolded part. kinda seems like people up there aren't learning from past successes (aquaman making a billion worldwide, first wonder woman) and failures (mostly JL, which wasn't organically built up to anyway)
It’s also not like they are racing anyone, either. Marvel has already been there done that with the cinematic universe stuff. DC won’t break any new ground so they should just take their time.
Yeah, I totally forgot how much I didn’t like millers interpretation of the flash lol I really would be surprised if that movie is good.
It can be two things. Cavill wasn’t great in the role and the writing was atrocious. Cavill is a good actor but Superman isn’t in his wheelhouse. It’s about more than just looking the part (which he obviously does).
We probably won’t know how good he could have been. Based on what we saw I think he could have been great but the Snyder movies so mischaracterize Clark/Kal El that he never had a moment to really tap into the character.
The cavill Superman stuff really reminds me of Garfield as Spider-Man, really sucks how bad that Superman movie was.
Gal Gadot accidentally revealed she’s in the Flash on her Instagram. She posted a month by month recap of 2021 and for the month of August she was in a makeup chair for Diana.
Not to ruin things, but in the article it's clear he's not specifically talking about the reshoots, but about that entire period of his life. He even says it's not about Justice League because it could have been anything and it would still be the same.
they both did over $1 billion, it’s not like nobody saw TDK. also, TDK’s original run domestic total was $200k more than The Joker.
