I'd be totally okay with not having Ken Jeong in any movie ever again UNLESS the stop typecasting him.
I’d be interested in seeing MBJ as a Val-Zod Superman. I think that could be a fun way to move forward but keep Cavill Superman’s legacy.
I’ll echo Henry Golding as Supes and Tim’s idea for MBJ as Dick Grayson taking on the Bat mantle. Those are solid. If I were to choose a black actor for Superman, for my part I’ve always been a fan of Michael Ealy and, I dunno, I can easily see him in that suit.
Isn't the latest rumor they are going for a 25-30 year old Batman? I agree Hamm would be great in the role though.
Yes, there was a period of time, a long time ago, when [producer] Joel Silver was involved with it. But it worked out beautifully. That was a wonderful film that Gal [Gadot] did. Do you regret not getting a chance to play that character? No. It would have been a terrible movie based on the script that I read.
Huh. I mean, I’ve got no problem with the look. And Phoenix is talented so I’m sure he will give a memorable performance. But, I have no real interest in a Joker origin story.
All y'all people stuck on the idea of a Joker origin will lose your minds if you find out about stories like Injustice, Spider-Gwen, Red Son, Batman Beyond, & MC2. lol. I'm not a big fan of Joker as a character, and I have reservations I've shared previously about how this kinda disenfranchised white dude story could feel in our current climate. But, I continue to be shocked at how much people can't get this being A Joker's story, not THE Joker's story. The comic book movie landscape needs more unique decisions like this. I like how he looks with that makeup.
Maybe I’m too much of a Ledger fanboy but I like the Joker’s makeup when it isn’t perfectly applied. I’ll still watch this and very much look forward to it because of the talent involved.
I'm all for this being him doing his performance career and this being his first version of the Joker and then becoming what we know as the true Joker at the end. That would be pretty sweet to watch it as he evolves and his mind continues to be fueled by more and more delusions and crazy shit.
Following up on this: The Joker raising a smile hand tattoo to his face is probably the dumbest thing ever. Ugh.
