That wasn't my statement Mr Amazing Spiderman 2 and Dark Knight Rises. My statement was everyone likes bad movies which is unarguable.

On the topic that you want to get into though, my ability to separate art from artists is just different than others. I don't tell people they should separate just like others shouldn't push that on me :-|

  5. Pretending DKR is a “bad movie” like 13 hours is more than enough for me to say this: you have horrible taste in movies.

Yeah. It means you’re admitting to praising a bad person. I’m tired of this argument. If you praise and consume garbage by garbage people that’s on you. Own it. It’s who you are. It’s bad and you deserve the judgement.

Michael Bay is scum. His movies are trash at best and propaganda at worst. And anyone willing to hire him is scum.

    Shame on WB.

Michael Bay sexually harassed Megan Fox when she was 15 and also harassed Kate Beckinsale

I worked on Transformers 5. Michael Bay is everything people say about him and more. I have far, FAR too many stories to write down here.

On set, everyone hates him. When he’d finally show up (hours after everyone else), the AD department had a code to alert us all to his incoming presence:

    “Bay watch.”

When you heard that over the walkies, it was always followed by an audible groan. It also meant you had to run and hide for cover because Bay doesn’t like seeing anyone standing around at any time. I watched him scream at women. I watched him scream at children (“I don’t need you! I can fucking replace you tomorrow, you understand?”), I watched him accidentally set things on fire that were not meant to be set on fire and then endanger the crew by forcing them to film it, and I watched him lose his temper on a damn near daily basis.

    Fuck that guy.

On an interesting related note, Lindsay Ellis' "The Whole Plate" YouTube series (looking at film theory through the lens of Michael Bay) pointed out that Megan Fox's character in the first Transformers movie is actually the most well developed character in that whole film series.

The whole series has been pretty neat thus far.

Very interesting in your experiences. Do you have any proof that you worked on the film?

Heh, I’ll post my badge but I’m scrubbing out my picture and name (even though my username here is my last name...oh well, I don’t care Michael Bay sucks).

I also have video of myself on set in front of a burned out bus they’d previously detonated not ten feet away from me (nearly killing me in the process), but I should probably refrain from posting that as you can obviously see my face in that too.

But seriously, I nearly died for that man. Think I checked out mentally for the rest of the shoot after that.

It sounds like he was fired a year ago and Warner Bros took advantage of the death in his family to let the audience know that Snyder was leaving and Whedon was coming in.
